Light up the city and immerse in the atmosphere of Christmas!
The city center is decked in glittering lights and heralds, and some indispensable seasonal events are back. The traditional Christmas market that opened on November 10 offers traditional Welsh handicrafts and art works as well as exotic food such as German sausages near St. John church, a good place to hang out with the family and pick Christmas gifts. Following this, you can talk with Santa in his Grotto on Churchill Way and annual Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland will come back on November 17.
Prof Delme Bowen, the lord mayor of Cardiff comments: “There are some celebrations next week, and I know people from Bristol and the rest of Wales will come here. It’s good for the shops, but not good for your money.”
