If you are getting enough of Saturday’s crowded city centre, there is a place where you can have a wonderful break. Every Saturday at 1 p.m., Central Library in Cardiff offers its third floor to the musicians transporting you miles away from weekend shopping.
Last weekend, a local group Gwas y Neidr uncovered the magical world of Welsh legends and Cardiff”s historical characters that became alive in their sensitive interpretation of traditional songs.
“It’s a great idea to have a free concert,” says Emily Soord, 25, who came in the Library Saturday’s concert for the first time. “I was wondering about the space but actually it’s surprising!”
Jazz, rock, indie and other musical styles are on the menu over the next weeks.
