A Trove of Talent: 25 years of celebrating Welsh art

A Cardiff art gallery featuring work by Welsh artists celebrates its 25th Anniversary.

A unique celebration of Welsh art.

Wandering through the airy glass doors of the Martin Tinney Gallery brings you to a spacious floor where original artwork and prints decorate the walls. A visit is completely free and the gallery features monthly exhibitions of a chosen artist’s work.
The masterpieces of around 40 artists who are either Welsh or connected to Wales are displayed across three floors. April 2017 marked 25 years since the gallery first opened in Cardiff Bay. Nestled between Cardiff University and Queen Street is the collection which moved to Cathays in 2002. The gallery is open Monday – Friday from 10am to 6pm, and on Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.
