David Le Masurier left the corporate world of hotels behind, and has embarked on a mission to open a tearoom in Cardiff.

After working in the hotel industry for nearly 10 years, David wanted to follow his dreams and start his own independent business.

David’s tearoom will be traditional, evoking Victorian grandeur. He said, “People love little treats and I think it’s a great way for people to get out and enjoy each other’s company.”

The tearoom will focus on quality, and all baking will be done on site. David believes he will have the edge over coffee chains, as there will be “no sticky tables.”

Although the venue is currently top secret, David plans to open in Cardiff, mid February 2012.
