Run to raise money for men’s health

Thousands of people will be flocking to Bute Park on 15 November to take part in the Cardiff MoRun.

Participants will have the choice to run either five or 10 kilometres to show their support for men’s health issues.

The charity run is in alliance with Movember, an event that encourages participants to grow their facial hair to show support for charities that support men’s issues.

Movember seeks to promote awareness of issues such as male depression and prostate cancer, and also aims to increase early cancer detection and diagnosis with the ultimate target to reduce the number of deaths.

Sarah Coghlan, UK director of Movember says, “This Movember, we want people to think about mind and body by challenging each other to grow or move for 30 days.”
