Cardiff RFC supports Help for Heroes

Cardiff RFC have banded together with Help for Heroes as their 2014 Charity of the Year.

The campaign was launched on 23 November alongside Cardiff’s Principality Premiership clash with Aberavon, which saw Help for Heroes mascot Hero the Bear melt Cardiff hearts despite the chilly conditions.

Sian Jones, Cardiff RFC’s charity organiser, confirmed the launch ran smoothly on a day when Cardiff won 13–3.

“From our side, we want to raise the profile of Cardiff RFC.  From Help for Heroes’ side, holding events at The Arms Park brings exposure to a fantastic charity,” Sian reveals.
