Llandow Kart Club in Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan is helping to increase the popularity of karting in Wales.

The club has opened up the sport to a wider audience through the Let’s Go Karting campaign which allows those between the ages of 8 to 16 years old to try out karting for £5.

The club also run competitions such as it’s own summer championships which raise the profile of the Llandow track, which has the only floodlight outdoor circuit in Wales.

The popularity of karting continues to increase because it is such an exhilarating sport. Daniel Bellis, an avid racer, who has been karting for more than three years said, “I get a huge buzz from racing, the adrenaline is unbeatable.”
