Reindeer Run raises money for charity

K&M events will host a Reindeer Run in Whitchurch to raise money for Velindre Cancer Centre on 5 December.

The one mile sponsored run will start at 7pm at the Velindre Cancer Centre and finish at Whitchurch Village where live music, an outdoor cinema and fireworks will celebrate the finale.

Kylie McKee, Deputy Head of Fundraising for Velindre said, “Everybody is welcome and we would like to see as many people as possible getting into the festive spirit and having fun, whilst raising vital funds for Velindre.”

Wales and British Lions Rugby star Sam Warburton and Lord Mayor of Cardiff will take part in the run.

Kylie said that money raised from the event would enable the Velindre staff to deliver quality care for the people of South Wales.
