Cardiff Sinfonietta does Christmas

Cardiff Sinfonietta will be performing alongside special guests Rhys Meirion and Annelies for their Christmas concert at The Gate Arts and Community Centre.

Welsh Opera star and established tenor, Rhys Meirion, will be performing with the Cardiff Sinfonietta

The concert will be friendly and intimate, consisting of many Christmas favourites ranging from the traditional to the theme tune of Home Alone.

The event will be in aid of the Cardiff Homeless Project, which helps to provide beds and hot meals for local homeless people during the cold winter period.

The performers, including Welsh singers Rhys Meirion and Annelies, will be giving their time free of charge to support the cause.

Music Director Jonathan Mann said, “A few of the members of the orchestra came up with the idea of the concert and it will raise money for a brilliant project.”
