Urban Tap House opened on Womanby Street last month as the first bar from Newport’s multi award winning Tiny Rebel Brewing Company, promising punters new drinks to try on an hourly basis.

“You’ll come in, have a pint, and by the time you’re at the bar again we’ll have a new product on,” says assistant manager Connor Cupples.

There are over 100 beers at Urban Tap House, plus locally sourced burgers and a cider bar that stocks between 25 and 35 handpicked tipples at any given time.

“You could count all the ciders in Cardiff and you wouldn’t get as many as we have in one place,” reckons Connor.
