Wales Blog Awards add Food and Drink category

Food and Drink blogs given their own category at national awards

The Wales Blog Awards recognise bloggers and writers across the country

 

Winners of the Wales Blog Awards will be announced at a ceremony in Chapter Arts Centre this Thursday, the first time Food and Drink blogs have been given thier own category.

Organised by Media Wales and Warwick Emanuel PR, this is the second year the Wales Blog Awards have acknowledged the high quality of blogging across Wales. 

 The absence of a Best Food and Drink Blog category in the 2010 awards was marked, with bloggers forced under the umbrella of “Lifestyle”. 

Shortlisted blogs in the category are CardiffBites, Pint of 45 and What Kate Baked.

Several new categories have been added, including a Best Entertainment & Music Blog, Best Photo Blog and the People’s Choice Award. Winners are then be judged against each other for the award of Best Blog.
