Folk fans will be treated to free live music sessions from local group the James Clode band.

The band is formed of nine musicians and singers who perform contemporary folk rock songs and released their album on 1 April this year.

The album, Citadel, had its launch party at Nosda. Frontman James will celebrate his 30th birthday there with a free gig on 24 October.

The band will also perform on The Glanfa Stage at the Wales Millennium Centre on 7 November, where they played earlier in the year before the album launch.

Manager and biggest supporter Marilyn Collard has big ideas for the band, too. She says, “My plans in 2015 are to get festivals because their music, sound and magic on stage is great for that.”
