Vitality’s advice for a guilt-free Christmas

Every year the Christmas binge takes hold: too much food, drink and TV watching.  We are all left feeling guilty and rush in the New Year to lose the unwanted pounds.

But what if you want to get healthy in the build-up? Vitality has provided tips of how you can avoid the Christmas binge blues, before they happen.

“I recommend 15 to 25 minutes per day exercise. It’s really not that much, and doing it just before breakfast is a great way to get it done and out the way,” says one of Vitality’s personal trainers, Phillip O’Carroll.

“Nutritionally, you need to keep an eye on your saturated fat intake. Staying away from seasonal doughnut stalls helps too!”
