Folk tales come to life in Wales Millennium Centre

Wales Millennium Centre (WMC) will once again play host to a Beyond the Border storytelling event

Story time at Wales Millennium Centre

Beyond the Border is Wales’ international storytelling festival, which is made up of a three day summer event, followed by individual events throughout the year.

One of those is a reading by performer and storyteller Deb Newbold, on the Glanfa stage at the WMC 19 November.

Events like this take place monthly on the Glanfa stage, said a WMC spokeswoman. People can expect to see a varied performance, with Deb not only reading folk-tales but singing them as well.

Beyond the Border hopes to raise awareness of storytelling as an art form, for adults as well as kids. Now is the time to embrace your inner child and sit and listen to some stories.
