Sexual vulnerability artwork at Gallery Ten

Award-winning Welsh artist, Sue Williams, has teamed up with cardiologist Dr. Ossei-Gerning to create an art exhibition with a twist.

THROB is an exhibition blending the arts and sciences through exploring the taboo of sexual vulnerability, and its main feature, THROB: Touchy, is coming to gallery/ten this week.

Williams’ artwork will include drawings, painting instillations and filmography, and she hopes the exhibition will spark conversation around sexual vulnerability, which is never really discussed.

“As a woman I’m very aware that conversations between men and women need to be explored,” Williams explains.

The complete THROB exhibition is supported by the Arts Council of Wales and includes Williams’ artwork at gallery/ten and live performances of poetry, music and dance held at venues across South Wales this autumn.
