A competition to find the best music video made in Wales will take place on 22 November at the Three Rivers pub in Greyfriars Road.

Organised by the Cardiff Mini Film Festival group, the award celebrates local talent and is open to anyone creating short videos with small budgets of under £1,000.

The final nominees will be screened at the event and John Rutledge, better known as Eggsy from Goldie Lookin Chainwill judge the entries.

The Audience Choice Award will be given to the video with the most votes

Jody Tozer, director of Ffresh Student Media Festival Of Wales, is one of the organisers of the event and claims it is needed in order to “upscale” local talent.

There is no fee for entrants from Wales and directors can only enter one example for free.
