The Moon is being created as an accessible music venue for up and coming artists above Full Moon bar.

Owners Steve Bines and Gwyn Thomas have decided to open a venue designed for musical performances after the success of their Full Moon bar which opened in Cardiff two months ago.

It is a dedicated music venue, explains Steve, for people who like all sorts of music.

The Moon has a capacity for 150 people for live events and is equipped with all the facilities found in larger venues.

Many bands and promoters cannot afford to hire out larger establishments, Steve explains.

“The whole point is to make it accessible financially so, 9 out of 10 times, there will be no charge for the band to use the venue,” Steve describes.
