The Café Scene magazine launches

A brand new magazine covering Cardiff’s best coffee and tea hangouts will celebrate its launch today.

The Café Scene

The Café Scene lends a voice to the independent café houses of Cardiff

The Café Scene magazine features news, events, interviews and reviews from independent cafés, while also highlighting Cardiff’s exciting latte art scene.

By casting a net over the Cardiff caffeine crowd, from the busy professional ferreting away on his laptop to the abstract hippie sipping tea on a stool, The Café Scene aims to give its community a space to shout.

The magazine has already received a warm reception from local café owners like Stephen Barker, co-owner of Castle Arcade’s Coffee Barker, who says, “It’s great to see someone celebrating the smaller and independent cafés that exist in Cardiff. It makes a nice change.”

The Café Scene’s launch party will take place at Coffee a gogo on St Andrews Place at 4.30pm.
