Christmas turns ghostly with guided walk

A history tour in Cardiff is officering a seasonal special for its guided history and ghost walks. Cardiff History and Hauntings is putting on two nights over the festive period to give Cardiff residents a tour of the sleepy hamlet of Llandaff.

Steeped with historical facts about the village’s turbulent past, Llandaff’s ghost tours are increasingly popular. Attendee Kate Brooks said, “It’s very exciting! It’s great if there’s a group of you, there’s a really good atmosphere.”

The Christmas Special Ghost tours will include a meal, quiz and mulled wine, in addition to the guided walk from local historian Jim Cowan. Local spooky sightings have included a mournful lady seen for generations at the river, and a sinister hooded figure who is said to follow visitors.
