Oxjam ready to take over Cardiff

The Full Moon and Moon Club are two of the five venues being used for the event.

Since its inception in 2006, Cardiff has been one of Oxjam’s prime locations. Now it’s a festival with hundreds of events all across the UK and is entirely run by volunteers.

The Cardiff ‘takeover’ event will include five venues, featuring local bands, while at the same time raising money to fight poverty and suffering around the world.

Sian Walden, the Oxjam Cardiff Takeover Manager says, “We have named our stages after major causes that most people might have seen – Make Poverty History, Make Trade Fair, Life Lives for Good, Crisis Appeal & Control Arms.”

The festival will take place on 16 November. Wristbands can be purchased now with prices at £10 for Full Takeover Tickets (18+), or
£7 for Two-Venue Tickets (14+), which includes entry to The Moon & Clwb Ifor Bach.
