Welsh musician to perform at Chapter

A local singer-songwriter is returning to Cardiff for a homecoming show.

Llandaff born singer Siôn Russell Jones is performing at the Chapter Arts Centre on 31 October.

The University of Glamorgan graduate recorded his first album And Suddenly in October 2010 while studying for his music degree.

Siôn has played at festivals around the world, including The Acoustic Festival of Britain and SXSW in the USA. The guitarist’s intricate melodies and catchy choruses have received airplay on various radio stations such as BBC Wales and SF3 in Switzerland.

Despite these credentials, Siôn confided that he finds singing, “Scarier in front of friends and family!”

However, ultimately he’s “elated” and can’t wait to play in his hometown this month.
