Welsh venue develops Welsh artists

Acapela gives Welsh artists the chance to develop

The idyllic village of Pentyrch just outside Cardiff is playing host to Welsh artists through the music venue and recording studio, Acapela. Their very own label, Kissan Productions, provides local Welsh bands with a potential platform from which to launch their careers.

With a focus on developing talented musicians and giving them the opportunity to record their own music, the venue has helped the recording careers of artists such as Only Men Aloud and Welsh folk band, Rusty Shackle.

Hywel Wigley, part of the production team, describes the work of Acapela as being: “World quality music, locally.” The regular gigs, and an upcoming talent show, enable local bands to have a stage and be heard.
